Preparations for celebrating Everest Day at base camp

KATHMANDU, April 26:The government has planned a celebration of this year's Everest Day at the base camp.

Hitraj Tamang, Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, shared this information.

According to him, the Everest Organizing Committee met last week under the Minister's chairmanship.

He stated that the group resolved to begin preparations for the main Everest Day program in the Prime Minister's presence at the base camp. The 29th of May marks Everest Day.
