Three flights per week to operate from Resunga Airport

GULMI, March 19:Resunga Airport in Gulmi will operate three flights per week.

Nepal Airlines used to fly only on Wednesdays and Fridays, but now it also flies on Mondays, according to Suman Thapa, station chief at Resunga Airport.

Resunga Municipality Chief Khildhawaj Panthi stated that due to increased passenger traffic, one flight has been introduced in collaboration with Nepal Airlines. Following the rise in passenger traffic, one more flight is set to take off. He stated that necessary communication with airlines for additional flights depending on passenger traffic will take place in the coming days.

Every Wednesday and Friday morning, an 18-seater Nepal Airlines plane has been flying from Kathmandu-Resunga-Kathmandu.

The fare from Kathmandu to Resunga is 7,280, while the fare from Resunga to Kathmandu is 7,800. 

Resunga Airport is approximately 5 kilometers from Tamghas' headquarters.
