More than 55 lakhs collected in one month at Pathibhara temple

KATHMANDU, March 17:The Pathibhara Area Development Committee Taplejung has received about 55 lakhs in donations from the Pathibhara temple in the last month. According to the District Development Committee, 55 lakh 70 thousand 880 rupees collected from Pathibhara during the month of February were deposited in various banks.

On Wednesday, the Pathibhara Area Development Committee made public the donations it received in February. Prajin Hangbang, executive director of the Pathibhara Area Development Committee, stated that the committee publishes the collected offerings in Pathibhara on the last day of each month.

Similarly, the committee has issued information indicating that 17 thousand 912 pilgrims from home and abroad have visited the Pathibhara temple in the recent month. The number of devotees visiting Pathibhara has increased as the weather has warmed during the last few days.

Meanwhile, the committee announced that the gold and silver collected in Pathibhara are being auctioned. It is stated that refined 178 tola 82 red gold and 5 thousand 298 tola 12 red silver are currently being sold. The committee reported that the notice of auction sale was issued on February 20 and that the sale is still ongoing.
