Manoj Karki elected President of AOAN

KATHMANDU, March 02:Manoj Karki has been unanimously elected President of the Airlines Operators Association of Nepal (AOAN), the umbrella organization representing private-sector airlines.

On Thursday, the AOAN's 23rd general assembly unanimously elected Karki as president. Karki, the president of the AOAN, is Summit Air's managing director.

Similarly, Pratapjung Pandey was elected first vice president, followed by Nima Nuru Sherpa and Anil Manandhar as second and third vice presidents.

Subas Sapkota, secretary Murali Dhar Joshi, and treasurer Rupesh Joshi have been elected as the association's general secretary.

Similarly, Subhash Amatya, Umesh Paneru, Balkrishna Pandit, Prajol Thapa, Sachen Subedi, Umesh Acharya, Furwa Chhiring Sherpa, and Vijay Singh Shrestha were unanimously chosen to the working committee.

The AOAN  has selected a new working committee for the next two years.
