Shekhar Golchha and Prisma Group announces ‘Paran’ film

KATHMANDU:Golchha Group, an industrial group, has officially entered the film industry under Bioscope Cinema Pvt Ltd, a joint venture with Prisma Advertising. On Wednesday during a ceremony in Kathmandu, the company officially announced the production of the film 'Paran'.

Deepak Acharya, who played the famous character 'Kaku' in the famed comic TV series 'Sakkigoni', will direct the film, which will also mark his directorial debut. Neer Shah will play the lead in 'Paran', which will also star Madan Krishna Shrestha, Keki Adhikari, Prabin Khatiwada, Buddhi Tamang, Mahesh Tripathi, Anjana Baraili, Pooja Chand, Subhash Gajurel, Yaman Shrestha, and other actors.

Similarly, the film will include director Acharya's younger son, Aryadeep Acharya, as a child artist. It will be released in theaters beginning in the first week of Falgun. The movie's cinematography will be shot in Kathmandu and Dhankuta. Shivaram Shrestha is said to be the cinematographer for Biscope Cinema Pvt. Ltd.'s first production, 'Paran', while Supreme Parajuli would be the color coordinator.
