Global IME Bank receives 'Best Bank Award 2024' from Global Finance Magazine

KATHMANDU:Global IME Bank has received Global Finance Magazine's Best Bank Award 2024.

Global Finance founder and editorial director Joseph Giarraputo handed the award to the bank's chairman, Chandra Prasad Dhakal, and deputy chief executive officer, Suman Pokharel, during a ceremony in the United States on Saturday.

Global IME Bank has been awarded the best bank in Nepal for the year 2024 in terms of reliability, financial resource mobilization, expansion of access, strategic partnership development, professional and customer-friendly services, credit rating, and so on.

Chairman Dhakal of the bank stated that this honor has encouraged Global IME Bank to provide even better services, and he expressed his sincere gratitude to the Government of Nepal, Nepal Rastra Bank, and other regulatory bodies, shareholders, employees, and all customers who have contributed in various ways to this honor.

Global Finance Magazine honors the top banks in Africa, Asia Pacific, the Caribbean, Central America, Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, North America, and Western Europe, including Global IME Bank.

The bank claims to be the first Nepali bank to receive this prestigious award from Global IME Bank Global Finance.

Global Finance bestows this honor on the world's best central banks and commercial banks.

Global Finance Magazine has recognized several banks worldwide, including HSBC from Hong Kong, Bank of America from the United States, State Bank of India from India, China Construction Bank from China, Global IME Bank from Nepal, Maybank from Malaysia, Standard Chartered Bangladesh from Bangladesh, and Metrobank from the Philippines, as well as other banks in various categories.

Prior to this, Global IME Bank had received numerous national and international awards in a various categories.
