Global IME Bank conducts free health camp at Lumbini and Karnali Province

KATHMANDU:As part of its corporate social responsibility, Global IME Bank held free health camps in Lumbini and Karnali provinces to mark its 17th anniversary.

The bank has organized the camp at under Lumbini Province, Palpa District Rainadebi Chhara Village Ward No. 4 Chhahara Health post and Karnali Province Surkhet District Birendranagar Municipality Ward No. 13 Zarbuta Health post.

More than 200 women in Lumbini province and 150 women in Karnali province have had health checks.

On January 2nd, Global IME Bank completed its 17th year and entered its 18th year.

As part of the campaign, the bank is conducting a one-day free women's health camp in all seven provinces in collaboration with the Nepal Family Planning Association.

Various services related to gynecology - women's health examination, cervical cancer (VIA) test, treatment of uterine prolapse cases, distribution of medicines, etc. will be available at the camp free of cost.

In the second phase of the Swasth Nari Initiative program, each camp will identify patients with early indications of cervical cancer and severe cases of cervical cancer who will be treated surgically.

Since its foundation, the bank has prioritized corporate social responsibility by organizing such health camps at various times, directly benefiting women and ordinary inhabitants in rural areas.
