Global IME Bank honors 253 employees

KATHMANDU:On the occasion of its 17th anniversary, Global IME Bank honored 253 employees. In a ceremony, the bank honored employees who had completed 15 years of service.

Global IME Bank and Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Chandra Prasad Dhakal presented the honor. He stated that by emphasizing customer service and satisfaction, the bank will improve service efficiency and technology compatibility.

He stated that the bank arrived at its current status as a result of government and Nepal Rastra Bank policies, and he urged workers to stress hard work and endurance over meeting targets.

Ratna Raj Bajracharya, the Chief Executive Officer of the bank, stated that the bank has moved forward with the purpose of offering prompt services in the current digital age by making its services innovative and customer-friendly.

Senior Deputy Chief Executive Officer Surendra Raj Regmi underlined the bank's commitment to providing superior quality service while keeping the customer's service and satisfaction in mind.

Global IME Bank is the country's first private-sector commercial bank, with branches in all 77 districts.

The bank has established a nationwide presence with 355 branches, 379 ATM counters, 322 branchless units, and 65 extension counters across all 77 districts of Nepal.

Furthermore, the bank has expanded its reach internationally with representative offices in London (UK), New Delhi (India), and Sydney (Australia), maintaining three international contact points.

With a customer base exceeding 4.5 million and a workforce of more than 4,000 employees, Global IME Bank continues to solidify its position as a key player in the banking sector.
