Hotel Professional Association Chitwan and CMC ink agreement

KATHMANDU, August 9:Members of the Hotel Professional Association Chitwan can now receive a discount of up to 20 per cent on health treatment and seven percent in pharmacies at Chitwan Medical College (CMC). Similarly, an agreement has been reached with the Hoteliers' Association to give a 20 percent discount if CMC employees and students show their cards.

An agreement was reached between the CMC and the union on August 6 regarding treatment and service exemption. The agreement was signed by Chief Administrator Pratap Devkota on behalf of CMC and member and Health Department Coordinator Rishikesh Aryal on behalf of the association. 

The association and its subordinate branches, which take discount facilities in treatment and pharmacy, should keep a board-written 'Medical Partner Chitwan Medical College' in a place where it can be clearly seen by the beneficiaries and the general public.

According to the agreement, the exemption facility is not applicable to police cases including road accidents, materials purchased directly by CMC, OPD, and emergency tickets.
