Kristin, Tenjin receive grand welcome at TIA (Photo Feature)

KATHMANDU, August 5: Record smashers Kristin Harila and Tenjin Sherpa, who climbed all 14 peaks above 8,000 meters in 92 days have arrived at Kathmandu after summiting the deadly Mt K2 in Pakistan, the last of the 14 mountains to mark their achievement.   

The duo smashed the earlier record held by Nirmal Purja, who climbed the 14 peaks in just over six months

While Harila and Sherpa had aimed to finish their adventure in four months, they managed to finish their journey ahead of time in three months and one two days.
