Candlelight vigil celebrates eve of World AIDS Day (Photo Feature)

On Sunday, December 1, the 37th World AIDS Day will be observed all across the world, including Nepal, with the theme "The World Can End AIDS - If Everyone's Rights Are Protected."  

On the eve of World AIDS Day, Maiti Nepal has organized a candle lighting ceremony in Gaushala in Kathmandu on Saturday evening. 

Participants in the lamp-lighting ritual remembered individuals who had died as a result of AIDS.

HIV/AIDS infections have been reduced by 91% in Nepal by 2023.
