NAC to operate direct flight from Bhairahawa to Doha and Kuala Lumpur

 

KATHMANDU, Dec 01: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is set to operate direct flight to Doha in Qatar and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia from Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa.
     
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has given permission for the corporation to operate flights to those two destinations from January 4.

​​Archana Khadka,spokesperson of NAC said that the flight schedule for Bhairahawa from Doha and Kuala Lumpur has been approved.

According to her, NAC will fly from Kathmandu-Doha-Bhairahawa-Kathmandu two days a week (Sunday and Tuesday) and one day a week from Bhairahawa to Kuala Lumpur.
     
Meanwhile, NAC will have 14 weekly flights to New Delhi, India. NAC said that the schedule has been re-approved so that all the flights to Delhi, which were cut earlier, will take place. NAC will operate two daily flights between Kathmandu and Delhi.

For the last one month, NAC had been operating 10 weekly flights to that destination. NAC's Delhi flight was cut after CAAN's binding decision that airlines operating more than three international flights must fly from Gautam Buddha International Airport.
