Citizens Bank conducts free health camps

KATHMANDU:Citizens Bank International conducted a free health camp to celebrate its 17th anniversary. The bank held a free health camp on Saturday at the initiative of the Beni branch in Gandaki province and the Surkhet branch in Karnali province.

As part of its corporate social responsibility, the bank collaborated with the local Beni Sanjivani Health Clinic in Arthunge, Beni Municipality-6, Gandaki Province, to provide free health checks and medicines.

Similarly, a free health camp was held in partnership with the local GP Memorial Nursing Home in Surkhet, Barahtal Girighat, Karnali Province. More than 300 persons have received services at the aforementioned health camp.

The bank has selflessly participated in various kinds of social activities. The goal of holding camps in communities is to prevent infections as well as treat them.  It is said that the anniversary of the bank will be celebrated on the 7th of Baisakh.
