Agreement between Garima Bikas Bank and TAAN

KATHMANDU, March 19:Garima Bikas Bank has reached an agreement with the Trekking Agency Association of Nepal (TAAN). An agreement has been reached to provide services with concessions on various types of loans made by the bank to members of the TAAN.

The agreement was signed by the bank's Chief Executive Officer, Govinda Prasad Dhakal, and TAAN's Chairman, Nilhari Bastola.

Garima Bikas Bank would provide TAAN members with Garima Simple SME monthly and overdraft loans at reduced interest rates of up to Rs 50 lakh under the terms of the letter of understanding.

Furthermore, a bank guarantee of up to five lakh rupees would be issued, with a cash margin of 10%. The bank stated that they hope these facilitate will make business easier for TAAN members.
