Six people injured of Manaslu avalanche were brings to Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, Sep 28: According to the Department of Tourism, one person died in the avalanche of Manaslu mountain on Monday afternoon. In the incident, 10 people suffered minor injuries and 4 people were seriously injured, the department said in a statement on Tuesday.

According to the department, 9 people have been rescued from the third camp. 6 of them have been brought to Kathmandu for treatment.

During this period, the department said that all measures have been taken to make rescue operations effective from the government and private sectors. The department has also informed that rescue operations are continuing due to adverse weather conditions.

An avalanche occurred near the fourth camp on Monday when local and foreign tourists were at the base camp of Manaslu mountain during autumn mountain climbing.
