Hotel Ashwatth opens in Jhapa

JHAPA, Fen 04:The newly built Hotel 'Ashwath' has begun operations in Itabhatta, Mechinagar-7, Jhapa.
Prajwol Ghimire, an entrepreneur, invested Rs 1.30 billion in the hotel, which inaugurated on Monday, February 3.
Hotel 'Ashwatth' covers two bighas and is located on the East-West Highway in Itabhatta, four kilometers west of Kakadbhitta.
Hotel 'Ashwatth' has already opened online booking for guests. The hotel features 84 suites and deluxe rooms, according to Chief Manager Kumar Koirala. He stated that the hotel offers an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, spa, banquet hall, meditation and yoga facilities. A casino will also be run in the hotel.
The construction of the Asian Highway, which will connect 32 Asian countries by land, is moving quickly, so the operator, Prajwal Ghimire, is thrilled about the increased tourist activity in Mechinagar, Nepal's eastern entrance.
Mechinagar, which is less than 30 kilometers from Bagdogra Airport, which conducts 40 flights per day to major Indian cities, and Chandragadhi Airport, which works at night, is a popular destination for both domestic and foreign tourists, he said.
'We have opened the hotel for Indian, Bhutanese, and Bangladeshi travelers,' he said. 'In the future, travelers from Bali, Indonesia, and Bangkok, Thailand, may be able to travel to Nepal easily via the Asian Highway.
Hotel 'Ashwath' has initially provided direct employment to 55 people. The hotel has also arranged mountain flights for travelers to see the Himalayan region, according to Chief Manager Koirala.
