APF honors record-breaking mountaineer Mingma David Sherpa

KATHMANDU, Jan 23:On Wednesday, the Armed Police Force honored Mingma David Sherpa, a world record mountaineer.

On the occasion of the 24th Armed Police Force Day 2081, the Armed Police Force honored the mountaineer Sherpa the "IG APF Commendation".

The Armed Police Force  has honored the Sherpa in high regard for his unparalleled contribution in various fields to fulfill his responsibilities and make the organization's work more effective by supporting, coordinating, and collaborating with the Armed Police Force in various ways. 

Sherpa had also made major contributions and provided help to Armed Police Force men when ascending Mount Everest.
