More than 100,000 people visited Chitwan National Park in six months
CHITWAN, JAN 22:110,345 tourists visited Chitwan National Park during the first six months of fiscal year 2081/82.
The park's information officer, Abinash Thapa Magar, states that 53,103 domestic tourists have visited the park since Shrawan. The park has received 10,850 tourists from South Asian countries and 46,392 from third countries. He stated that Rs. 131.46 crore in revenue has been collected from tourists.
Tourists visit the park to observe rare one-horned rhinos, tigers, leopards, and crocodiles, among other wildlife, aquatic species, and birds. Tourists can enjoy elephant, boat, jeep, and walking tours of the park and its buffer zone. Chitwan's primary attraction is Chitwan National Park.
