ila Comfort Hotel' opens in Baglung
BAGLUNG, Jan 22:Chandra Prasad Dhakal, President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), has opened ila Comfort, a tourist hotel in his home town of Baglung. The hotel, which had a soft launch last week, is experiencing a high volume of bookings.
The hotel is situated on three ropanis and contains 30 rooms. The hotel offers rooms ranging from Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 24,000 per night. According to the hotel, a deluxe room costs Rs. 5,000, while a penthouse costs Rs. 24,000 a night.
Dhakal opened the hotel in his hometown to solve the need of well-equipped hotels for tourists in Baglung.
Dhakal, also the chairman of IME Group, has recently increased his involvement in the tourism sector. Dhakal, who builds cable cars and hotels throughout the country via the Chandragiri Cable Car, opened 'The Lakeside Retreat' in Pokhara a few years ago. He opened a new hotel in his home district two years after running a well-equipped resort in Pokhara, representing the western region.
Chandragiri Hills Resort opened with the primary investment of the IME Group, which has been extending its investments in banking and financial institutions, cable cars, hydropower, travel agencies, and other areas. Similarly, the three-star 'Le Himalaya' hotel is opened in Lazimpat, Kathmandu.
The group plans to establish cable cars with hotels in all seven provinces of the country. It just put the Maulakali cable car into service, and plans are underway to develop the Pathibhara cable car.
