Dui Thopa Haso program concluded in UAE in collaboration with Global IME Bank and Sisnupani Nepal.
KATHMANDU, Jan 22:Sisnupani Nepal completed the 'Dui Thopa Haso' program in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which was sponsored by Global IME Bank. The program was free of charge, with the goal of giving amusement, raising financial knowledge, and instilling positive thoughts about life in hardworking Nepali residents residing in the UAE on the occasion of the New Year 2025.
The Non-Resident Nepali Association UAE, in collaboration with the Nepali Embassy in Abu Dhabi, organized the program, which included performances by Sisnupani Nepal performers. The program was inaugurated on January 10 with the primary guest, Nepali Ambassador to the UAE, Tej Bahadur Chhetri. Similarly, on January 11, it was conducted at Cleanco Camp in Sajaa Sharjah and Al Quoz's Baladiya Volleyball Ground.
On January 12, it was hosted at Eversendai Camp in Sonapur and the India Social and Cultural Center in Ajman. Tanka Acharya, Sisnupani Nepal's program coordinator and general secretary, attended the event, as did famed comedian Manoj Gajurel, singer Dhirendra Premarshi, and artists Chakra Dawadi and Saroj Ghimire.
The program, chaired by Bikash Sahi, president of the Non-Resident Nepali Association UAE, was attended by Thakur Prasad Dhungana, outgoing president and patron of the Non-Resident Nepali Association, Ramesh Shrestha, deputy coordinator of the Non-Resident Nepali Association Middle East and former president of the Non-Resident Nepali Association UAE, as well as representatives from relevant organizations.
Sisnupani Nepal has been organizing this event 'Dui Thopa Haso' for the past 11 years with the goal of bringing vitality to the joys and sorrows of industrious Nepalis who play an important role in Nepali remittances.
