China's promise to help make Pokhara Airport operation

KATHMANDU, Jan 14:China has pledged to help Nepal's Pokhara International Airport become operational.

Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana was also present during Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's trip to China. Minister Rana stated that she had met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi during her visit.

Pokhara Airport was not on the agenda. But Wang Yi said we will help run Pokhara Airport,' Rana added.

She made her remarks during a meeting of the House of Representatives' International Relations and Tourism Committee.
