Global IME Bank celebrates its 18th anniversary with nationwide blood donation program

KATHMANDU:757 people donated blood during a massive blood donation program celebrating Global IME Bank Limited's 18th anniversary.

Global IME Bank is entering its 19th year, completing 18 years from December 2.  On this occasion, the bank held simultaneous blood donation programs in all seven provinces, as well as free eye, blood pressure, and diabetes testing.

Blood donation programs were held at the following locations: Tinpaini in Koshi province, Janakpur in Madhesh province, Kantipath and Narayangadh in Bagmati province, Pokhara New Road in Gandaki province, Milanchowk Butwal and Nepalgunj in Lumbini province, Surkhet in Karnali province, and Dhangadhi in Sudurpaschim province, according to the bank.

757 people have donated blood through the program. Similarly, 119 people had their eyes checked, 200 had their blood pressure and diabetes evaluated, and counseling was provided as needed, according to the bank.
