Agreement between SCT and Everest Bank

KATHMANDU:Smart Choice Technologies Limited (SCT), a payment system operator, and Everest Bank Limited have inked an agreement to provide interbank payment services using Smart Pay.

According to the agreement, Everest Bank customers will be able to receive money sent from home and abroad via the Smart Pay service in their bank accounts.

Smart Choice, which has been offering various services such as cards, QR codes, inter-bank payments, and mobile banking for the past two decades, has offered inter-bank payment services under the Smart Pay brand this year.

According to the company, this service allows banks and financial institutions, such as remittance companies, broker houses, insurance companies, and large corporations, to conveniently and rapidly transfer funds to any bank account across the country for service recipients.
