Global IME Bank organizes a free health camp under My Healthy Woman initiative
KATHMANDU:Global IME Bank Limited has launched the My Healthy Women Initiative campaign as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts to commemorate its 18th anniversary. Global IME Bank will enter its 19th year on Thursday, the 18th of Poush.
As part of the program, the bank will hold one-day free women's health camps in all seven provinces in partnership with the Nepal Family Planning Association. Gynecologists will give free gynecological treatments during the camp, including women's health check-ups, uterine cancer (VIA) screenings, uterine prolapse therapy, medicine distribution, and more.
In the second phase of the Healthy Women Initiative program, each camp will identify individuals with early and severe uterine cancer who will be treated surgically. The bank will hold these camps in all provinces during the month of Poush.
The bank will hold a free health camp at Saraswati Tole Hall in Ward No. 11, Makawanpur, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City in Bagmati Province on Thursday, Rajdevi Mandir Hall in Ward No 1 of Kalaoya Sub-metropolitan City in Madhesh Province, Bhuk Health Post in Ward No. 1, Parbat, Modi Rural Municipality, Gandaki Province, on Saturday, Biratnagar Metropolitan City in Ward No 12, Morang, Basic Health Post, Barkhi Tole, Koshi Province on Monday, Shainamaina Municipality in Ward No 11, Rupandehi, Family Planning Association Clinic, Saljhandi on Wednesday, Daulatpur Health Post in Ward No 2, Surkhet, Birendranagar Municipality, Karnali Province on Saturday, Sayaule Basic Health Post in Ward No. 8, Kailali, Godavari Municipality, Sudurpaschim Province, on Monday preparations are begun.
The bank believes that the health camp will be helpful and benefit women in rural and semi-urban regions who do not have access to health care.
