Global IME Bank's organizes walkathon on the occasion of Bank's 18th Anniversary
KATHMANDU:Global IME Bank Limited has hosted a nationwide walkathon program on Monday on the occasion of its anniversary.
The bank noted that the walkathon program was implemented in major cities throughout all seven provinces as part of its corporate social responsibility.
The bank stated that the walkathon campaign was designed to increase financial literacy and banking awareness.
The walkathon, which was held in Kathmandu, was attended by Chandra Prasad Dhakal, President of the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) and Chairman of Global IME Bank, as well as members of the bank's board of directors, senior management of the bank and over 1,500 employees.
On January 2nd, Global IME Bank will complete 18 years and enter its 19th year.
Global IME Bank has been honored the best bank in Nepal in two categories: Global Finance's Best Bank Award 2024 and the Euromoney Award for Excellence 2024.
Global IME Bank has also received awards in a variety of categories from national and international organizations.
Global IME Bank is the first private commercial bank with a branch network in all 77 districts of the country.
