Tamu Lhosar celebrated (Photo Feature)

The Gurung community celebrates Tamu Lhosar.

On Monday, the entire country, including Kathmandu, will celebrate Tamu Lhosar, saying goodbye to the old year and welcome the new year. The community bids farewell to the year of the Garuda and welcomes the Year of the Snake.

They celebrated Lhosar with a rally from Basantapur to Tundikhel in Kathmandu. Participants in the rally wear clothing that reflects their identity. They've organized a program in Tundikhel.
