Dragon Boat Race Festival at Phewa Lake (Photo Feature)

The second edition of the 'Nepal-China Friendly Dragon Boat Race Festival' began in Pokhara on Sunday.

The festival is planned to promote tourism by increasing cultural and people-to-people ties between Nepal and China.

Players from Nepal, China, and Singapore are taking part in the festival at Phewa Lake, a popular tourist destination in Pokhara.

The tournament will last until December 30. Twenty teams competed in the competition, which was co-organized by the Gandaki Province Government, Pokhara Metropolitan City, the Chinese Embassy in Nepal, and the Nepal Tourism Board.
