Lumbini Government Launches Visit Bardiya Campaign

BHAIRAHAWA, Dec 20:The Lumbini province government has launched the "Visit Bardiya" campaign, targeting Bardiya. The Lumbini province government has started the "Visit Bardiya" campaign in partnership with Thakur Baba Municipality.

Chet Narayan Acharya, Chief Minister of Lumbini Province, inaugurated the campaign during a function on Thursday.

The "Visit Bardiya" campaign was started in accordance with the province government's approved yearly program strategy and program for the current fiscal year 2081/082.

Agriculture, tourism, industry, and infrastructure development are the cornerstones of the Lumbini province government's prosperity strategy. The program, which aims to attract both domestic and foreign tourists, has been begun in the Bardiya district.

Chief Minister Acharya inaugurated the campaign, stating that the Lumbini Province government has paid attention to the growth of the tourism sector, which began in Bardiya. 'The ancient landmarks of Bardiya district and the national park located here are a destination for visiting,' he added. 'I urge the people of Lumbini Province to visit Bardiya once.'

The campaign for a thriving Lumbini, a self-sufficient province, is possible through tourism, which is why the government has given it great importance,' he stated.

The Visit Bardiya program was organized with the primary goal of promoting the district's tourist region, as well as Bardiya National Park, to the national and international communities.

Bardiya National Park's biodiversity differs from that of the country's other national parks. On a single day, one can observe a herd of tigers, rhinos, and wild elephants, as well as spotted deer, Sambar deer, and different bird species.

Prachanda Bikram Neupan, Lumbini Province's Minister for Industry, Tourism, and Transport Management, stated that everyone's assistance is required to make the Let's Visit Bardiya campaign a success.
