KATHMANDU, Dec 19:The Hyatt Regency Kathmandu hosted a Christmas tree lighting ceremony. The event, held on Friday, drew famous bloggers, philanthropists, diplomats, corporate executives, and media representatives, generating an exciting atmosphere, according to Hyatt.

The hotel's lobby was designed to evoke a wonderful world of festivities. The glittering lights, appealing decorations, and spectacular Christmas tree in the center drew everyone's attention.

The major highlight of the event was a beautifully adorned gingerbread house that mirrored the joyful attitude. The gingerbread home was stocked with various Christmas treats that guests may purchase.

In line with its social responsibility, Hyatt Regency Kathmandu worked with Mendez Haven, a children's home. The children of the home performed traditional Christmas carols for the audience. Their singing made a beautiful environment and brought the festival's spirit to life.

Walter Pereira, Director of Operations at Hyatt Regency Kathmandu, stated at the event that the Christmas tree lighting ceremony is one of the most beloved traditions.

"This year, we wanted to plan an event that embodied the joy and warmth of the holidays. From the gingerbread houses to the youngsters singing carols, the evening was filled of joy and connection. We'd like to thank everyone who helped make it a success," he added.
