Air China aircraft carrying Buddhist monk lands at Gautam Buddha International Airport

BHAIRAHAWA, Dec 14:A Chinese aircraft with 268 Buddhist monks has landed at Gautam Buddha International Airport. An Air China aircraft carrying Buddhist monks to light a lamp at Lumbini's Mayadevi Temple landed in Bhairahawa on Friday.

The Chinese Buddhist monks have come to Lumbini as part of an annual program.

Other Chinese monks arrived in Lumbini from Kathmandu on Saturday. They were welcomed at the airport by officials of the Nepal-China Friendship Society.
