Tribhuvan International Airport will remain closed for only 8 hours from Janauary 28

KATHMANDU, Dec 13:Tribhuvan International Airport will now be closed for only eight hours every day.

Tribhuvan Airport, which has been closed for 10 hours every day since November 8 to construct various infrastructure, will be closed for only 8 hours starting January 28.

'As building work at Tribhuvan Airport progresses, flight hours have been enhanced for the convenience of passengers,' said Pradip Adhikari, Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN),. 'Now the construction is underway, and the flight hours are also increasing.'

Currently, Tribhuvan International Airport operates from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Starting January 15, it will open at 7 a.m. and shut at 11 p.m.
