Hyatt Heralds Holidays with Heartwarming Tree Lighting
KATHMANDU, Dec 11:Hyatt Place Kathmandu kicked off the holiday season on December 6 with a vibrant Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, bringing together an array of travel agents, corporate clients, celebrities, influencers, and hotel guests. The event, marked by warmth and joy, set a festive tone for the season.
The centerpiece of the evening was a sustainable Christmas tree, crafted entirely from pinecones gathered by the hotel’s staff. This eco-friendly masterpiece highlighted themes of sustainability, teamwork, and community, earning admiration from attendees. The tree was ceremoniously lit by children, a moment that resonated deeply with the gathering by spreading a message of hope and unity.
The celebration featured lively carol singing, live music performances, and a spread of holiday-themed delicacies that enhanced the festive mood. Adding a charitable touch, a unique “Gingerbread House” initiative encouraged guests to donate NPR 100 for each brick used to build the structure, with all proceeds benefiting Aamako Ghar, an old age home that supports the elderly and abandoned children.
Guests were also treated to the city’s longest Yule Log, a culinary spectacle that added a sweet note to the evening. The festivities reached their peak with a surprise appearance by Santa Claus, who delighted attendees of all ages.
Hyatt Place Kathmandu plans to extend the festive cheer throughout December with additional events and offerings, inviting the community to embrace the holiday spirit with joy and togetherness.
