NPEA and AmCham Nepal collaborate to promote investment and economic growth.
KATHMANDU:The Nepal Private Equity Association (NPEA) and the American Chamber of Commerce in Nepal (AmCham Nepal) signed a formal partnership at an event in Kathmandu. Several significant personalities from Nepal's corporate and private sectors attended the event.
The agreement was signed by NPEA President Siddhant Raj Pandey and President of AmCham Nepal, Nirmal Kaji Shrestha.
The pact intends to improve Nepal's investment climate and boost economic cooperation with the United States. For this, both groups have agreed to develop a strategic collaboration.
According to the agreement, NPEA and AmCham Nepal will primarily collaborate on resource exchange, program participation, and market analysis.
"We are excited to join this partnership with AmCham Nepal, which will play a significant role in the advancement of the private sector in Nepal," Pandey, president of NPEA, said. "Through this collaboration, we aim to build a strong system for knowledge exchange, identification of new investment opportunities, and trade growth."
AmCham Nepal President Shrestha stated that such collaborations should be developed to enhance bilateral commerce and investment between Nepal and the United States. "This partnership will provide both organizations with valuable information and resources, as well as help businesses on both sides explore new opportunities."
According to the agreement, NPEA and AmCham Nepal will find new trade and investment prospects by exchanging market research and data. In addition, they will assist each other in expanding ties with key stakeholders and decision-makers, as well as providing access to numerous platforms.
