Tourism Minister Pandey has directed NAC officials to submit an action plan within 15 days

KATHMANDU, Dec 08:The Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Badri Prasad Pandey, has directed Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) officials to submit a reform action plan within 15 days.

Minister Pandey stated during a program held on Thursday at the NAC's central office that the NAC cannot continue to operate in its current status and instructed them to submit a reform action plan.

He stated that the ministry is dedicated to reforming the NAC and that if the NAC produces a reform action plan, the ministry will take all necessary steps to implement it.

He expressed his resolve that ground handling, which is the foundation of NAC's income, would not be taken away from the NAC and instructed the NAC to work toward profit from air services.

He added that the ministry is positive about the management of the Chinese aircraft that will be loss at the NAC.
