Nepal DP Limited signs sponsorship agreement with Lumbini Lions for NPL 2024

KATHMANDU:Nepal DP Limited, a Depository Participant company (a joint venture public company promoted by 10 Stock Broker Companies) has partnered with Lumbini Lions franchise for the upcoming Nepal Premier League 2024. Nepal DP will be the official capital market partner of the franchise. The MOU was signed in the presence of Mr. Anjan Raj Poudyal, CEO of Nepal DP Limited and Mr. Raj Jung Thapa, Cricket Manager of Lumbini Lions.

The sponsorship aims to promote Nepali cricket along with creating awareness about the capital market to the youths and Nepalese society. Nepal DP will host a financial literacy panel discussion supported by its promoter stock broking companies. The company will also announce special offers on its products and services during the Nepal Premier League (NPL).

Lumbini Lions Franchise is led by Nepal’s National Team captain, Rohit Paudel. The biggest international player of the Franchise is IPL 2016 winner, Ben Cutting. The former U-19 Worldcup winning captain, Unmukt Chand, Canada’s Captain, Saad Bin Zafar of Canada, England’s prodigy Tom Moores and West Indies Raymond Simmons. Sandeep Zora, Bibek Yadav and Surya Tamang are National Stars

The Nepal Premier League will feature Eight Franchises. Lumbini Lions will play their first game against Biratnagar Kings on 4th December 2024.
