Protective Micro Insurance conducts insurance awareness program in Biratnagar
KATHMANDU:Protective Micro Insurance Limited, in partnership with the Federation of Nepal Cottage and Small Industries, Morang, conducted a one-day insurance awareness workshop in Biratnagar. Approximately 103 persons attended the program.
Rajendra Pathak, a representative from the Protective Micro Insurance Head Office, presented a presentation on the dangers of daily life, the necessity of insurance in risk management, the need for microinsurance, and the microinsurance plans that Protective Micro Insurance is now offering.
Pushpa Khanal expressed her delight that Protective Micro Insurance has partnered with the Authority in priority areas, while the main guest praised him for the presentation, which included a simple claim payment process in the non-life insurance industry.
At the end of the program, Chetnath Niraula, Chairman of the Federation of Nepal Cottage and Small Industries, Morang, thanked Dhana Bhattarai, Itahari Chief of Protective Micro, for the smooth collaboration and expressed his commitment to soon unify the operations and bring all entrepreneurs affiliated with the federation under the scope of microinsurance.
Protective Micro Insurance Limited is a micro non-life insurance company registered with the Registrar of Companies on 12th Poush, 2079 BS and approved by the Nepal Insurance Authority on 29th Chaitra, 2079 BS to do non-life micro insurance operations. This enterprise, headquartered in Dhangadhi, Kailali, has grown its branch network to include Itahari, Biratnagar, Urlabari, and Birtamod in Koshi Province.
