KATHMANDU, Nov 24:Lords Hotels has officially inaugurated the "Mandala Norling Lords Prime" hotel in Kathmandu, Nepal, on November 23, 2024, marking a significant milestone in the country's hospitality sector. The new luxury property is strategically located in Maharajgunj, just 4 kilometers from Tribhuvan International Airport, making it easily accessible for both local and international travelers.

Dr. Dhananjaya Regmi, Executive Chairman of the hotel, emphasized that this establishment is a "world-class hotel that contributes to the Nepali tourism landscape." He described the launch as the "culmination of hard work and vision," highlighting the hotel's proximity to major Hindu and Buddhist religious sites. The Mandala Norling Lords Prime features 86 quality rooms, 14 dedicated spa and wellness rooms, a gym, sauna, steam facilities, and a pool. Guests can also enjoy a rooftop bar and a fine dining restaurant offering both national and international cuisine. Additionally, the hotel includes four full event halls, with more spaces set to open in January.

Alma Tashi, the chief guest at the inauguration, expressed her gratitude to both the Nepalese and Chinese governments for their support. She voiced her hope that this aspiring four-star hotel would gain the trust of local and international guests.

Pushpendra Bansal, COO of Mandala Norling Lords Prime, shared insights about the hotel's operations. He manages 70 hotels across three countries, with this being the sixth hotel in Nepal and the third in Kathmandu. Banshal mentioned ongoing discussions for further expansion into Chitwan and Pokhara, with plans to open another hotel in Pokhara within two to three months. He encapsulated their brand's philosophy with the phrase "True Value Hotels," asserting their position as one of the fastest-growing hotel chains in the region.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Deepak Khadka, Nepal's power minister, along with representatives from various sectors of tourism and media. As Dr. Regmi aptly stated, "Tradition meets excellence in hospitality," reflecting the hotel's commitment to blending cultural heritage with high-quality service.
