Construction of 25-story Annapurna Square Hotel began on Durbarmarg

KATHMANDU, Nov 21:The construction of the 25-story Annapurna Square Hotel in Darbarmarg has begun, at an investment of 6 billion rupees.

Bhatbhateni, Little Angels, and Annapurna Group began construction of the Annapurna Square Hotel at that location. Previously, Hotel Annapurna was located at that place.

On Monday, the company's president, Min Bahadur Gurung, performed Bhoomi Puja to kick off the hotel construction process. Meanwhile, Gurung, who also serves as chairman of Bhatbhateni Supermarket, stated that the hotel's construction began as a symbol of Nepal's natural beauty.

According to him, an Indian architecture company designed the square, which has already begun construction. He stated that the work would be completed in two parts, with the goal of opening the hotel on April 13, 2028.

The 25-story Annapurna Square will feature a 900,000-square-foot hotel and 40-room residences, according to the Gurung.  Gurung stated that the casino will be operational alongside the hotel. A Bhatbhateni store will also be available.

He stated that the destruction of the old structure is underway, and the faster the municipal level grants permission, the faster the construction would continue.

He stated that the 350-room hotel will be built in a way that Nepal can be proud of, at a "reasonable" price. Once built, the five-star hotel will be managed by ITC Hotels, an Indian luxury group.

Hotels and arcades will be built. "The hotel and the arcade are separate," Gurung stated. He also stated that the arcade might be completed in one and a half years, and the hotel in two and a half years.
