Pathibhara cable car foundation stone to be completed within 15 months
TAPLEJUNG, Nov 12:The foundation stone of the cable car to reach Pathibhara Temple, a famous religious shrine in Taplejung, was laid on Friday.
Dumbardhwaj Tumbahamfe, a member of the Constituent Assembly, and Amir Maden, Mayor of Fungling Municipality, set the foundation stone by worshiping at Kaflepati, the starting point for cable car construction.
Indra Kedem, CEO of Himalaya Construction, announced that the foundation stone for the cable car project was placed with Pathibhara Devi's approval in the presence of political party members and district inhabitants.
"We laid the groundwork for cable car construction in the presence of members from all political parties in the district, the mayor, people's representatives, and locals. "Now the work is being completed at a faster rate," stated Kedem.
Mayor Madden stated that Pathibhara Kevalkar is not just for one enterprise, but for the economic, social, and cultural development of the Taplejung district as a whole, and that it will be a watershed moment for the economic prosperity of Taplejung and Koshi province in general.
Rudra Paudel, a member of the cable car company's board of directors, stated that the trees in the area where the cable car would be built had previously been cut, and the official foundation stone for the cable car construction was put on Friday.
Paudel stated that the cable car will be able to operate within the following 15 months.
According to him, the cable car will help promote tourism, create jobs, maintain environmental balance, and promote economic and social growth.
