NTB promote Nepali tourism via WTM
KATHMANDU, Nov 07:Nepal's tourism has been promoted through the 'World Travel Market', which is regarded as the world's largest travel fair.
Entrepreneurs have also arrived, along with NTB representatives, for WTM 2024, which began in London. The fair promoted Nepal's tourism destinations around the world.
The 2024 World Travel Market began on Tuesday (November 5) and will run until the 7th. There are 43,000 participants from 184 countries, 3,875 exhibitors, and 82 conference sessions.
Nepal, a premier destination for adventure travel, cultural variety, and sustainable tourism, participants the World Travel Market 'WTM' in London.
The NTB enthusiastically recognized its 40-year participation and stated that its long-standing commitment to the global tourist sector would continue.
This will be an important opportunity to present Nepal's unique legacy to travelers and tourism professionals from all over the world.
Deepak Raj Joshi, Chief Executive Officer of the NTB, stated that participation in the World Travel industry will allow Nepal to directly engage with this high-potential industry.
"This presents a unique opportunity to interact with environmentally conscious travelers interested in our rich culture, distinctive natural landscape, and eco-friendly tourism, while establishing new commercial potential," he said."
He also complimented Lonely Planet for selecting Nepal as the top travel destination.
In the global travel market, Nepal is known for its unique landscapes, which range from prominent mountains to historic cultural sites.
The NTB expects that this will allow tourists to directly interact with the distinct features of Nepali heritage.
