Farmers picking marigold flowers for Tihar (Photo Feature)

Farmers in Ramkot, Nagarjun Municipality, Kathmandu are busy gathering mari gold flowers, which are in high demand during Tihar.

The Ichangu area, also known as Kathmandu Valley's flower center, is currently covered in Mari gold and Chrysanthemum flowers.

Ramkot farmers have begun commercially planting flowers due to the increased demand for them during Tihar.

Farmers have been gathering flowers in their fields since the early morning.
