Laxman Subedi unanimously re-elected as  president of  Hotel Association Pokhara Nepal

POKHARA, Oct 27:Laxman Subedi was re-elected unanimously as President of the Hotel Association Pokhara Nepal. The association's 21st session and 42nd general assembly, held on Thursday in Pokhara, elected an unanimously 12-member working committee.

Bikal Tulachan is the former  president of the committee. Deepak Shrestha was elected as the first vice-president, Ganeshraj Pahari was elected as the second vice-president, Rajendra Dhakal was elected as the general secretary and Parvata Pandey was elected as the secretary. Netra Prasad Paudel was elected as treasurer and Baibhav Paudel was elected as co-treasurer.

Similarly, Bharat Raj Sharma, Dilliram Gautam, Pancham Lama, Shiva Raj Pahari, and Prateek Raj Pahari were elected as committee members, according to Bharat Raj Parajuli, the election committee coordinator.

The association's working committee has 17 members, including six from star and non-star hotels, one former president, and four nominees.

After being re-elected as president, Subedi stated that the association's operations will continue with the cooperation and support of all sectors, with a focus on promotion initiatives.

Pokhara Metropolitan Chief Dhanraj Acharya addressed the ceremony and celebrated the new Hotel Association leadership on their efforts to ensure the tourism sector's long-term prosperity.

Bharat Parajuli, a central member of the hotel association, stated that the experienced leadership is expected to launch more innovative efforts to improve business cooperation and attract tourists.

Hari Sharma Gaire, the former president of Hotel Association Pokhara Nepal, underlined the importance of hotel associations in Pokhara tourism and the necessity for collaboration and coordination. Rajendra Dhakal, General Secretary, delivered the association's success report as well as future plans.
