Agreement between Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce
KATHMANDU:The Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) and the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce (SICCI) reached an agreement to facilitating investment and commerce.
Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal, President of NCC and SICCI executives officials have established an agreement to invest in Nepal's hydropower, tourism, minerals, and other natural resources.
During his visit to Singapore, President Agrawal informed SICCI executives officials about business potential in Nepal. He encouraged Singaporean investors to consider investing in hydropower, tourism, mining, and other natural resources, reassuring them that the Nepal Chamber of Commerce would protect their interests and ensure a return on investment.
President Agrawal highlighted Nepal's improved political stability and legal framework, calling the country as more favorable for investment and a desirable tourist destination. He stressed that collaboration and business ties might help both Nepal and Singapore's economies.
