Tourist arrivals are increasing in Rasuwa

RASUWA, Oct 21:Rasuwa, located near Kathmandu, is a popular tourist destination. Trekking tourists become more active when the autumn season arrives.  Rasuwa's tourism season runs from September to November and March to May. Tourists have begun to visit Gosaikund, Parvatikund, Nagathali, Ganesh Himal, and other locations, including the Langtang route, Nepal's most popular trekking destination.

Foreign tourist bookings are rolling in. Nepalese folks go sightseeing around Dashain and Tihar. Trekking tourism has not yet returned to its pre-Covid-19 levels, but it is improving. Tourist traffic  increased starting in October. Tourist numbers are projected to grow this season. The sole route into Rasuwa is deteriorated on the Kalikasthan-Safrubensi road segment of the Pasanglhamu highway, causing tourists to have difficulty traveling.

The number of trekking tourists will increase as the routes leading into the district become safer and more orderly. It is vital to familiarize the guides with biological diversity and the surroundings. Rasuwa district alone features a religious monastery, temple, and lake, and as winter approaches, the number of local and foreign tourists visiting the religious and tourism sites of Langtang and Gosainkund increases.
With the arrival of favorable weather and time for trekkers, Himalayan hoteliers have begun the process of transporting vital food and reinforcing the hotel. Milan Sapkota, conservation officer of Langtang National Park, stated that once the rain stopped, approximately 10,500 internal and external tourists, including approximately 3,600 foreign tourists, visited the Himalayan district in August and September.

Every year, hundreds of domestic and foreign tourists visit the Chilime Hydropower Power Plant. Tourists are drawn to locations like as Langtang and Ganesh Himal, the old Rasuwagadhi fort, waterfall, Nagbeli mountain, Tamang Sampadamarg, Tamang Museum, and Nepal's first cheese making facility.

Aside from the significant natural and man-made legacy, places of religious value such as Niladri Mountain, Gosainkunda, the abode of Shiva, and Parvatikunda, the abode of Goddess Parbati, draw religious travelers. The native cuisine of Goljung, Gatlang, Nagathali, Chilime, and other areas along the Gatlang-Tamang path has increasing visitor appeal. Police have been deployed at several locations to ensure the safety of tourists entering the district.
