Department of Tourism and NTB to remain in service during Dashain

KATHMANDU, Oct 11: The Department of Tourism and Nepal Tourism Board are going to continue their service during the Badadasain festival. The essential services of both agencies will remain in operation.

NTB Director Maniraj Lamichhane said the NTB office will be open for half a day every day except on the Dashami or the Day of Tika under the Bijaya Dashami festival. The Trekkers Information Management System (TIMS) Support Center and Tourist Information Center will remain open from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Likewise, the Director of the department, Rakesh Gurung, shared that the mountain climbing permit service will continue. The work of the department will remain the same even on public festival holidays.
