Royal Tulip to debut luxury resort in Nepal
KATHMANDU, Oct 07:Royal Tulip, the luxury brand of Louvre Hotels Group, is making its debut in the capital city of Kathmandu with the signing of its first resort in Budhanilkantha. The project, developed by Classic View Resort Limited and managed by Sarovar Hotels in South Asia, marks an important step in elevating Nepal’s presence in the global luxury travel market.
The project is led by Mr Mukunda Raj Kunwar, Chairman, and Mr Aashish Dhakal, Director and Co-Founder of Global Equity Fund Limited. Together, they have been key in bringing the prestigious Royal Tulip brand to Nepal, setting a new benchmark for luxury in the region. The luxury resort, located in the serene foothills of Budhanilkantha, will provide a peaceful retreat just a 30-minute drive from Tribhuvan International Airport.Covering 26 ropani of land, the resort will feature 75 spacious and carefully designed rooms, combining modern comforts with the beauty of Nepal’s natural landscapes. Guests will enjoy access to a grand 500-seat banquet hall, a world-class spa, steam rooms, private Jacuzzis, and a variety of wellness facilities. The property provides clear views of the majestic Himalayas, making it a peaceful getaway for both domestic and international visitors.
