163 foreign tourists stuck in floods and landslides rescued
KATHMANDU, Oct 06:On September 27th and 28th, 163 foreign tourists were rescued after being stuck in various parts of the country by continuous rains.
In coordination with the Nepal Tourism Board's Crisis Cell, they were rescued.
The Crisis Cell has stated that it is rescuing tourists in collaboration with Nepali security institutions, including foreign embassies, consulate offices, and travel and trekking businesses in Nepal.
According to reports, the Tourist Police and Crisis Cell have begun to provide 24-hour services to tourists via their hotlines.
In addition, the website also provides travelers with information regarding air service conditions and weather.
Singaporean vacationers Yap See Min and King Yi Kent, who were reported missing amid the flood, have been recovered safe.
Additionally, two tourists from India and Nepal have been rescued from Ramechhap.
