Manakamana cable car service to remain closed for two days during Dashain

KATHMANDU, Oct 06:The Manakamana cable car service will be closed for two days during Dashain.

According to Manakamana Darshan Pvt Ltd, the cable car will closed on Saturday, October 12 (Bijaya Dashami) and Sunday, October 13 (Ekadashi) (Asoj 26th and 27th).

The Manakamana cable car will resume regular operations on Monday, October 14th. 

The Manakamana cable car, located in Kurintar (Cheres) in Ichchhakamana-4 in Chitwan, was established in 2055 BS and is Nepal's first cable car. The famous Manakamana Temple in Gorkha's Shahid Lakhan rural municipality can be reached by cable car in 10 minutes from Kurintar.
