Airline companies expands flights due to increased passenger traffic
KATHMANDU, Oct 06:Airlines companies have expanded the number of flights due to the increase in passenger traffic.
According to Buddha Air Information Officer Dipendra Kumar Karna, the airline has added two flights to Bhadrapur and Bharatpur. Buddha Air, which presently operates around 150 daily two-way flights to various destinations, has expanded the number of flights due to an increase in passenger traffic.
Anil Manandhar, Shree Airlines' spokesperson, stated that the airline has also operated flights on the Kathmandu-Bharatpur-Kathmandu route since Friday. The company said that initially chartered and then regular flights.
Yeti Airlines has also added one flight to Kathmandu-Bhadrapur-Kathmandu and Kathmandu-Nepalgunj-Kathmandu, effective October 1st. Sudarshan Bartaula, Yeti Airlines spokesperson, also stated that a flight has been added to the Kathmandu-Janakpur-Kathmandu route beginning October 4th.
The number of passengers on air flights has increased as a result of the recent persistent rains, after road traffic disruptions caused by floods and landslides in various parts of the country. Following a rise in the number of flights, airlines companies are increasing the number of flights to transport passengers to their destinations.
