NTC restores services interrupted by floods and landslides

KATHMANDU:Nepal Telecom informed us that its services have been disrupted in several areas due to floods, landslides, and inundation caused by the recent heavy rains.

The company stated that, despite the fact that Nepal Telecom's BTS towers were closed due to a power outage, and transmission links in some areas were also disrupted, attempts are still underway to restore service.

According to the company, attempts are being made to restore service despite the inclement weather. Telephone and internet services have been restored in several locations, while work to restore services in others are underway.

The company apologized for any trouble caused by customers as a result of the undesirable situation produced by the unexpected disaster.
